I have been googling Uwe Henneken, the German artist to find out some more information on him, like what makes him tick and what inspires him, and what his life is like, but all I can come up with is born 1974, studied at Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe under Helmut Dorner and at the HBK Berlin under Dieter Hacker, and lives and works in Berlin.
Oh yeah, and has done a whole lot of shows.
The reason I wanted to find out about him of course is that I am completely taken with his work, which I recently ran into on Moon River. He does sculpture and painting combining the two into isalation works.
the color is what really gets me here, plus of course the contrast between it and the cannons.
