*******I have had some success with sculpey for small scale figurines(check the Barbarian, Dragonknight, and Zaavan, from my website if you want to see what can be accomplished). It tends to pick up detail better than supersculpey, IMO, because supersculpey is more waxy

I use Supersculpy and love it! To learn more and find answers to any questions I would suggest heading over to rec.crafts.polymer-clay. It's were the polyclay experts hang out. They can help you with UK suppliers as many are from there. I use a mixture of supersculpy and Promat which helps two ways, one is to use two different colors so that when they are thoroughly mixed and of one color the clay is conditioned properly, two it makes the sculpture far less brittle when baked. Also you will never get cracks if you mix the clay, support it so nothing can move while baking and allow the piece to cool slowly with out disturbing it.
