Has anyone actually had much success selling their art on the web? If so, what worked and what didnt? Im looking into using the net as a way to sell my sculptures and would like to avoid the pitfalls, or maybe even the whole idea if it just doesnt work well.

Steve,

Web sites as display rooms are great, you can show your work, and keep your reusme current.

It is however like any store, Location, Location, Location

In this case location means findable by search engines, and linked to other interesting sites. both of these goals can be a lot of work.

Of course, there is always your work and your presentation of it.

Some things don't have a very big potential market, and that market may NOT be on line. You have to consider things like that.
