HI NEWZEALAND PATERSON. it is best to make a rubber mould from latex liquid. or silicone rubber. latex needs to be built up and could take a week and a half to make just the mould in rubber then you would have the mother mould to make to support your mould or make it from silicone rubber but you will need to split the mould like an orange but the seams won't show on the finished cast if made properly.and the moulds can be made in four hours to 24hours.depending on the type of silicon you use. and cement fondue is one of the hardest cements but most cements can be made harder buy not mixing water on its own or buy using polyurethane instead of water.plaster moulds if using concrete need release agents added to them all the time but for much better detail use rubber moulds.

HI PATERSON PARKIN. the liquid polymer is a milky white colour it is made for mixing with cement and plaster to make it more harder you would sometimes mix it with water first depending on if it is neat or diluted when you buy it type in special plasters on your computer and you will see what im talking about and then find someone who supplies it near you

Easiest to just build a lath and rebar structure, stuff it with paper, then directly apply
planitop x to the lath. It works great. I have large and small sculptures made this way.
