I need more information on Jesmonite resin. is available in India? What is the process of casting with this resin and how different is it from fiberglass?
Jesmonite is much more like plaster of a very high quality not like resin at all.
I believe Jesmonite was the earlier name for Hiram Ball's product/system which is now called Forton MG. Here's a link to their site where you might get questions answered: http://www.ball-consulting-ltd.com/
The product combines a plaster, a resin and a hardener, it takes color well and is quite strong. I believe it'll hold up outside too but shouldn't be constantly used in water (or to hold water).
in the states its called aqua resin it is a safe resin system with plaster and a water based acrylic non toxic resin and it is extremely strong and is weather proof.
