Helle Jorgensen, Discarded plastic bag Artist and author of Gooseflesh blog has just opened a new exhibition that will be on through October 26, at the Sullivan and Strumpf Gallery.
This is what their site says about her and her work

Helle Jorgensen uses drawing, painting, embroidery, knitting and crochet to delve into the natural world. In Post Chrysalis, Helle uses plastic bag yarn and crochet to make an ecological statement while celebrating nature’s marine beauty and commenting on its fragility.

I love the concept of recycling in art, and making good out of evil.
