Please help me find resin color fillers. I've got the resin already. I was told that where I got it would also have hve the fillers but they didn't at home depot.

What I'm doing is making a aquarium out of wood, I am now fiberglassing it witha resin. but I need to add a color to it. It is amazing how ignorant the local hardware clerks and paint store clerks have been on this subject. Please Please help

Here's some info from alt.coatings.paint on the question as it was addressed there. http://www.woodfinishingsupplies.com/ has colorants for resin. There are two types... pigments and dyes. The pigments come only as a powder and produce a solid color. The dyes come in liquid which is an alcohol soluble stain also known as NGR stain, and the dyes come in an aninline powder. The dyes produce a translucient color.
