I am a sculptor working in bronze (castings). Intrested in learning the process of ceramic shell casting.And the availability of the meterials required for it in india.What would be the expenditure required for a small unit?

The price for the material depends strongly on the land of production I think. And the import fees and regulations I think you should inquire for with your local customs authorities. I mean, getting laws first hand is definitely the most reliable
