I been doing a couple of portrait sculptures recently and have been modeling in clay. For one bust I produced a silicone & plaster mould followed by a Plaster of Paris casting. I now would like have a bust cast in bronze.

Can anyone recommend a foundry to produce a bronze bust from a clay model. Budget is an issue!!!!!!!!

U could visit the scottish sculpture workshop in Lumsden, Aberdeenshire and do it yourself! You can stay in the self catering accom for extremely reasonable prices. Visit www.regionlink.com/grampian/ssw/ or www.ssw.org

I know this is an older thread, but just wanted to put it in there for info purposes - Bentley Chemicals in Kidderminster, Worcestershire near Birmingham is a supplier to the foundry industry in the UK. If you contact them I am sure they can provide numerous leads on foundry facilities all over the UK.

Here's their website:
www.bentleychemicals.co.uk
